Counselling and Psychotherapy

About Mana

I am an experienced and accredited Japanese counsellor and psychotherapist providing face-to-face sessions in East London as well as telephone and online sessions. I have worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist in diverse organisations both in Japan and in the UK. I am currently working as a Specialist Counsellor at the Sexual Assault Referral Centre in London, where I am specialised in providing support to people who experienced sexual assault and rape.

I work as an integrative therapist, and use various approaches depending on client's needs to maximize the therapeutic space. I believe that everyone has their own resilience to cope with difficulties in life and heal themselves, and my fundamental role is to assist clients in drawing the ability in themselves.

What are Counselling and Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy offers longer-term therapy not only to work on current issues, but also to understand what is underneath them so that you will have a deeper understanding of the issues and how to cope with them.
